The Alpha Male
A woman is naturally attracted to the leader of the pack. This is what you have heard called “The alpha male." Why do you think this is the case? What does it take to be the alpha male in a situation? The answer is sexual chemistry, leadership, confidence and power.
Each situation is different and each situation will have alpha males involved. You will recognize the alpha male because he is surrounded and supported by other males who back him up. He has established his leadership in the group. He is not necessarily the loudest or most noticeable one. He could be the one who sits quietly not saying or doing much at all.
He projects complete confidence. He is not challenged by the other males who know him. They follow his lead and they admire him. If there is another alpha male in the area who wants to challenge him he is up for it and he knows how to defend or maintain his rank.
Most bar room fights between men are all about establishing the pecking order in the pack. I was always curiously amazed how a fight could break out between men in a bar and by the end of the night they are all best of buddies. The alpha male has been chosen. His most worthy challenger then becomes his second in command, and sometimes his best buddy.
It is so very much like mating instincts of animals. After the alpha male is established in the group, he usually has his pick of the most desired women. If he is the true alpha male of the group, the woman he wants will have difficulty resisting him. She may even pursue him.
A female who is ovulating is unconsciously attracted to the alpha male of the group. It doesn’t matter if she is with her husband or not. She can’t help herself. She will find herself very attracted to the alpha male, when normally she would not consider such a thing. This is when her husband (or date) will begin to act more aggressively in response to the attraction going on between his girl and the alpha male. This can be a dangerous situation, so it is one to be aware of.
Some pickup artists will practice the techniques of an alpha male and have a certain amount of success with women, but if they do not develop their true confidence and leadership character among their peers, they may have to settle for being second or third behind the true alpha male whom they admire and support in group situations. This seems to satisfy some men because they can still get their share of women as the alpha male will usually not hog them all.
If you are only pretending or practicing to be an alpha male you will not do well in a group situation with a true alpha male and you may have to learn some techniques to isolate your target in order to be successful.
Attraction is not a choice when it comes to certain chemistry between an alpha male and a receptive woman, especially if she is ovulating, but you can still do or say the wrong things and mess it up if you are not well versed on the signs. You have to be very alert to what is going on and to body language.
